Bought an Antenna (Midland X-50) for 2m/70cm, 1.70 meters tall.
Installation
A big thanks to João (CT1WV) who assembled the antenna and has been giving me a lot of support since I started in amateur radio.

Midland X-50 Features
The X-50 is a popular vertical antenna among amateur radio operators for several reasons:
- Bands: Dual band 2m (144-146 MHz) and 70cm (430-440 MHz)
- Height: 1.70 meters
- Type: Omnidirectional vertical
- Gain: Approximately 2.15 dBi on 2m and 3.8 dBi on 70cm
- Impedance: 50 ohms
- Maximum power: 200W
Performance
This vertical antenna provides:
- Omnidirectional coverage (360°)
- Good repeater reception
- Excellent for local VHF/UHF communications
- Simple and robust installation

It’s an ideal antenna for those starting in VHF/UHF. Its reasonable height and solid construction guarantee good communications without needing a very tall tower.
Many thanks to CT1WV for the continued support!
