HF - G5RV Junior
For HF bands, I installed a G5RV Junior antenna. It’s a very popular multiband dipole antenna among radio amateurs, working well on 10m, 15m, 20m, 40m and 80m bands.
The G5RV is known for its versatility and ease of installation, being an excellent choice for those starting in HF or with limited space.
VHF/UHF - Diamond X-200
For VHF and UHF bands, I installed a Diamond X-200. This is a high-quality vertical antenna covering 2m and 70cm bands.
The X-200 offers excellent gain and an omnidirectional radiation pattern, ideal for local communications and through repeaters.
The new QTH in Covilhã offers better propagation conditions due to altitude and less electromagnetic noise compared to Lisbon.
