I upgraded my license!!

I went from category 2 amateur radio operator (CS7AKG) to category 1 (CT7AKG).

This new license allows me to operate on all amateur bands with higher power and no mode or frequency restrictions.

The complete progression was:

  • 2014: CR7AKG (Category 3) - entry-level callsign
  • 2017: CS7AKG (Category 2) - autonomous operation
  • 2021: CT7AKG (Category 1) - full license

With category 1, I have full access to:

  • All amateur bands (HF, VHF, UHF)
  • Higher power levels
  • All operating modes
  • CEPT international privileges
