Construction
The tuner was built with:
- Two variable capacitors
- A coil with multiple taps
- Among other components
Construction details
This manual tuner allows adjusting antenna impedance to get the best possible SWR. The variable capacitors and multi-tap coil offer great flexibility for tuning different frequencies.
Although it’s homemade equipment, its simplicity makes it very educational for understanding antenna tuning principles.
